Changes to Interpreting services for Medicals not covered by Manitoba Health:

ECCOE will provide 1hr of interpreting services at no charge each calendar year.

Ages 18 and under and 65 and older are covered by Manitoba Health. In addition, individuals with a pre-existing medical condition may also have Manitoba Health coverage (please contact ECCOE to determine if you have coverage). For all other requests, ECCOE will provide 1hr of interpreting services at no charge each calendar year.

ECCOE is looking for Deaf Interpreters to support other Deaf and non-deaf Interpreters in translation work.
Are you a Deaf Interpreter who is currently doing English to ASL translation work on video? Are you familiar with using teleprompters, recording equipment, setting up lighting, etc., and interested in supporting other interpreters both Deaf and non-Deaf? Please contact ECCOE for more details about providing this training!
